​Three people with ties to KCC have recently passed away.
Condolences to Richard Frey and his family on the passing of Nicky Frey on Thurday, Jan. 25. Nicky and Dick are KCC both retirees. Nicky worked at KCC from 1978 until her retirement in 2004. She was director of the Respiratory Therapist program.
A visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 at St. John Paul II Parish (formerly St. Teresa Church), 361 N. St. Joseph Ave. in Kankakee.
Memorials can be made to the KCC Foundation, St. John Paul II Parish, and Uplifted Care.
Condolences to Anthony Crite and his family on the passing of his daughter, Amari Crite, on Thursday, Jan. 25. Anthony is a KCC adjunct professor. Anthony is also the nephew of a KCC retiree, Ken Crite.
A visitation will be Friday, Feb. 2 from 3-8 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home, 224 E. Washington St. in Momence. The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. in the Momence High School Auditorium, 101 N. Franklin St. in Momence.
Condolences to the family of Nadine Clem, after her passing on Jan. 7. Nadine worked at KCC from 1983 until her retirement from the Office of Financial Aid in 2006. A visitation and funeral were held earlier this month.
