KCC Hosting Statewide Meeting of College Leaders

Kankakee Community College is hosting a statewide meeting of community college leaders.

Between March 6-9, administrators and trustees from all 48 of Illinois' community colleges will convene here in Kankakee at our Riverfront Campus for an annual meeting that includes college presidents, vice presidents, and trustees.  During this time, we'll discuss current issues and trends facing community colleges and learn best practices for meeting student needs.  Our March meeting is always a valuable time for these groups to gather and share insights.  This year, we are excited to welcome Dr. Arthur Levine who will speak with us about his book, The Great Upheaval. 

The Illinois Community College Trustees Association (ICCTA) asked us to host this event because members of their organization have heard about the great things we are doing here at KCC.  That's encouraging enough, but I'm even more excited to host this event because I know how welcoming our college community is to visitors. 

Thank you, in advance, for welcoming Illinois' community college leadership to our campus.  I'm confident that they will go back home to their communities with stories to tell about how great things are here at KCC.
