Process for picking up reserved vehicles

​I want to inform everyone the process for picking up and returning reserved vehicles. When you arrive at the PPD to pickup your vehicle packet, a member of the PDD will call a police/public safety officer to inspect the vehicle from the location you are picking up the vehicle. The vehicle must be physically inspected   inside and outside prior to departing. When returning the vehicle you will need to call (815-802-8190) to inform the officer on duty to meet you where you are returning the vehicle to, again the vehicle must be physically inspected inside and outside by the officer, once inspected give the vehicle packet to the officer and he/she will return it to the PPD.  It's important to arrive a few extra minutes prior to your departure time.
