Thank You for Welcoming Community College Leaders to KCC

This week, I'm sure that stories are being told all across the state about Kankakee Community College.  We left quite an impression on a lot of people last week.

As you know, leaders and trustees from community colleges across the state of Illinois convened right here on our Riverfront campus.  It was our annual joint meeting where we discussed current pressing issues and created a shared vision for our future as a system.

There were great discussions, but I think that it was our college that stole the show and captured the attention of everyone who attended.

Indeed, I received so many compliments about the absolute beauty of our college's grounds, the impeccable condition of our campus facilities, and the dynamic nature of our classrooms and labs.  The very best comments, though, are the ones I've received about how warm and welcoming the KCC team was to all of our guests.

Thank you for being so kind and gracious to Illinois' community college leaders and trustees. I've always known that KCC is a world-class community college, and last week you all proved this to be the truth.
