Know some important things to know

Peer reviewers with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), our accreditor, will be on campus for a site visit on Nov. 18 and 19 and will be touring the Riverfront Campus. Dr. Lesley Cooper and Rylee Mann in the Institutional Effectiveness office have been preparing the Assurance Argument document with a team of faculty and staff.

The peer reviewers may ask any of us about KCC's mission, vision and values statements, or want to know if we can tell them about our general education goals and strategic priorities. It's a great time to learn, or refresh your memory about, these important components. A printed poster is available for easy reference. Review the poster and be ready – Dr. Boyd may stop you in the hallways for a pop quiz!

Questions about the visit can be directed to Dr. Lesley Cooper.

The Higher Learning Commission is the accrediting body for degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions.
