Join us for Thanks-a-Latte Nov. 6 from 11 a.m.-noon in Hammes Café. KCC's assurance argument document has been submitted to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Let's celebrate with a coffee and prizes! If you helped prepare, write or read any of the criterion of the assurance argument, you're in the drawing for a Kindle. The recipient will be selected during the event.

Dr. Lesley Cooper and Rylee Mann in the Institutional Effectiveness office prepared the Assurance Argument document with a team of faculty and staff. Please take some time to read the final document on the Institutional Effectiveness portal page.

Peer reviewers with the HLC will be on campus for a site visit on Nov. 18 and 19 and will be touring the Riverfront Campus. The peer reviewers may ask any of us about KCC's mission, vision and values statements, or want to know if we can tell them about our general education goals and strategic priorities. It's a great time to learn, or refresh your memory about, these important components. A printed poster is available for easy reference outside Lesley and Rylee's offices.

Questions about the materials or the visit can be directed to Dr. Lesley Cooper.

The Higher Learning Commission is the accrediting body for degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions.
