Police Care Package Project

The KCC Veterans Association is collaborating with the Criminal Justice Club and Project Headspace & Timing for a Police Care Package project in honor of Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and Officer Tyler Bailey. 450 care packages will be delivered on Dec. 29th, the anniversary of the shooting that has greatly impacted their fellow officers in our community and their loved ones. Every police officer in Kankakee County will receive a care package. If anyone is interested in donating items for the care packages, donations can be dropped off in the KCC Welcome Center from Nov. 11th-Nov.25th. If you are interested in volunteering some time to help pack the care packages, a packing party will take place in the Iroquois Room on Dec. 2nd from 10am-2pm.
