We would like to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining a comfortable and inclusive environment for all employees. Several colleagues have fragrance sensitivities, and as such, we kindly ask that you refrain from using scented plug-ins, candles, or any other strong fragrances in shared spaces.
While we understand the desire to make your workspace personal, it is essential that we respect the needs of all employees. Strong scents, whether from personal care products or office decorations, can trigger discomfort or health reactions to those with sensitivities.
Please take a moment to consider the following:
- Avoid using scented candles, air fresheners, or plug-ins in communal areas and personal workspaces.
- If you use any strongly-scented products (such as perfumes, lotions, or cleaners), please do so in moderation to minimize exposure to others.
- If you're unsure whether a product might be a concern, please check with your colleagues or reach out to HR for guidance.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and respectful workplace for everyone. Thank you for being considerate of your colleagues' needs.
