The Business & Accounting Office is excited to announce the upcoming implementation of electronic attachments for procurement in Self-Service, going live July 1, 2025.

 

The overall procurement process in Self-Service will remain largely the same. However, users will now upload supporting documentation (backup) directly with their Purchase Orders (POs) or Requisitions, rather than emailing the Purchasing email and approvers separately. This update allows approvers to review all necessary backup documents within Self-Service, streamlining the approval process. Backup will be required upon creation of POs.

 

Updated instructional materials for KCC employees on how to create and approve POs and Requisitions with the new attachment process will  be located on Business Office My KCC info site once the process goes live.
