Walk Out of Darkness Brings Community Together

This past Saturday, more than 300 participants gathered on the Kankakee Community College campus for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Walk Out of Darkness. The event brought people together to remember loved ones, support one another, and raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.

Members of the Psychology Club, Veterans' Association, and Criminal Justice Club volunteered at the walk, helping to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for participants.

Those who wish to contribute can still make a donation to support suicide prevention efforts and community education programs.
