Afternoon Bites & Insights: Assessing Course Objectives

Join us for our next Afternoon Bites and Insights session on Tuesday, November 4, from 2:00–3:00 PM in the Cavalier Room L120. This interactive workshop will focus on aligning course assessments with student learning objectives.

Faculty are encouraged to bring their syllabi and descriptions of the assignments they currently use to assess course objectives. Together, we will:

  • Review and refine course objectives
  • Explore how to access information on IAI (Illinois Articulation Initiative) courses
  • Evaluate how well current assignments align with learning outcomes
  • Discuss ways to use assessment results to inform and enhance instruction

Whether you're teaching a general education course or a program-specific class, this session offers practical tools and collaborative discussion to support effective teaching and meaningful student learning.

We look forward to seeing you there!

👉 Don't miss out... register in advance to reserve your spot!

Drinks and snacks will be provided.
