A few minutes ago, I received a message from a KCC faculty member.

She said "Professors are hearing from students who are being deeply impacted by the loss of SNAP benefits, and some have been missing classes as they seek resources."

Support Resources/Food Resources

One way we can all help students is to make sure they know about resources -- including food resources:

In the food resources section, you'll see that in addition to KCC's Food Pantry, there is access to "My Pantry Express"  which distributes food on the KCC Riverfront campus. This service is on a first-come/first-serve basis and open to community members. Help students understand that signing up early for each delivery date is important.

My Pantry Express details

Place orders at www.MyPantryExpress.org. Pickups are 1-3 p.m. at the KCC Riverfront Campus. Pickup instructions are emailed prior to order pickup. There are two pick-ups per month:

  • Order from the second Saturday of the month until the following Wednesday. Pick up the fourth Tuesday of the month.
