"Nacho Average Retirement" celebration for John Shivers!

We're excited (and a little bittersweet!) to share that John Shivers will be retiring at the end of this year. John has been part of the KCC family since June 27, 2016, and if you know him, you know what a difference he's made here. He was promoted to Custodian Supervisor on May 8, 2023, and across campus, John is appreciated for his hard work, kindness, and steady, positive presence. He has a way of making everyone's day a little easier and a little brighter.

John's official retirement date is December 31, 2025, but we're celebrating him early! Please join us on December 10 at 11 a.m. in the Hammes Café (outside the Hammes Bookstore). We'll have a nacho bar and plenty of time to stop by, say thank you, and wish him the very best.
