Holiday Tournaments Dec 15-18

Bragging rights and prizes will be on the line during four KCC holiday tournaments: ping pong, air hockey, connect4, and bags.

Details

• All KCC employees, students, and student workers are invited to participate.
• The deadline to sign up is by noon, Thursday, Dec 11.
• Matches will begin Monday, Dec 15 and will continue until champions are crowned on/or before Dec. 18.
• Brackets will be posted at the tournament site – Cavalier Corner/lower level of the College Center.
  
• Sign up now at the Police Desk College Center.
  

The sports

• Ping pong: Each game will be played to 21, and the winner must win by 2. The match is best 2 of 3. Participants can use their own paddles if they choose. Scoring will use the honor system. The winner will receive a gift card.
• Air hockey: Each game will be played to 7. The match is best 2 of 3. Common sense rules apply, such as players not being able to touch the puck with their hands and not crossing over the middle line. The winner will receive a gift card.
• Connect4: Players take turns placing checkers into the grid until one player has 4 checkers in a row; the row can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal. The match is best 2 of 3. The winner will receive a gift card.
• Bags: Partners/teams will be randomly drawn and paired. Each game will be played to 21. The match is best 2 of 3. The winning team will receive a gift card.

Please be cognizant/respectful of the amount of time you are playing or watching the tournaments to ensure everyone's work is being done and there is staff coverage in each area.
