2025 Police Care Package Project Highlights

Members of the KCC Criminal Justice Club and the KCC Veterans Association, along with faculty, staff, and community members, partnered with Project Headspace & Timing for the annual Police Care Package Project in honor of Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and Officer Tyler Bailey. 

A total of 475 care packages will be delivered on December 29, the anniversary of the tragic event that deeply impacted law enforcement officers and their families in our community. Every police officer in Kankakee County will receive a care package. Those interested in assisting with the delivery on December 29 may contact Melvina Calvin at mcalvin@kcc.edu.
