Recent results from the 2025 Revealing Institutional Strengths and Challenges (RISC) survey show encouraging feedback from students, underscoring the impact of faculty and staff across campus.

A strong majority of students report positive experiences at KCC. Notably, 79% say they are very likely to recommend the college to a friend, and an impressive 97% believe their education is worth what they paid or more — a clear indicator of the value students place on their experience.

Students also highlighted the college's supportive environment and people as key strengths. Eighty-nine percent agreed that staff are helpful and approachable, while 88% said they feel welcomed and comfortable on campus. In the classroom, 84% of students rated the quality of instruction as excellent, reinforcing the vital role faculty play in student success.

The survey also showed KCC outperforming peer institutions in helping students reach their goals, with 54% reporting the college is helping them achieve their educational objectives — 8% above peers. Additionally, 86% found the enrollment process easy to navigate, and 75% said billing and payment processes are clear and reasonable.

Together, these results reflect a college community deeply committed to student success and a campus culture defined by support, value, and approachability.
