Each month, Bob Feldman and our friends from Nothing Bundt Cakes bring a little sweetness to campus—and make a meaningful difference for our students. Since the first gift was received in September 2022, their popular bundt cake sales have grown into a favorite tradition among faculty and staff, with proceeds benefiting the KCC Foundation and supporting students in need.

To date, this partnership has generated $5,646 in support—averaging about $195 per month. About half of the dollars support emergency funding through the Cavalier Fund, and half has gone directly toward addressing food insecurity through the KCC Food Pantry Fund.

The food pantry remains a critical resource on campus, serving many students who rely on it to stay focused, healthy, and on track to complete their programs.

As one student shared on our website about the food pantry: "The food pantry helped me get through a really difficult time. I didn't have to worry about where my next meal was coming from, and that made it possible for me to keep going in school."

Another student who received emergency funding support reflected on its impact: "When an unexpected expense came up, I didn't know how I was going to stay in school. The emergency funding gave me the support I needed at the right time so I could keep moving forward."
