​The 2026 Illinois High School Diploma Ceremony is in the books, and the Adult & Community Education Department would like to thank everyone who helped make the day such a success.

A special thank you to Harold and his team for the beautifully prepared room; to Marketing — especially Ellen and Tyler — for the invitations, beautiful programs, and excellent audio; to Katelyn for the use of the geraniums to beautify the event; to Nate for coordinating with the construction crew so the gym entrance was ready in time; and to everyone who participated in the ceremony, including Dr. Boyd, Dr. Sewell, our magnificent speaker Dr. Calvin-Edwards, and our last-minute volunteer, Yasmine.
