This is a friendly reminder that Canvas Studio has replaced VidGrid as KCC's video platform. VidGrid will be officially retired at the end of Summer 2026.

Migration update: Videos that were created or viewed in VidGrid within the last two years have been migrated to Canvas Studio. Over the coming weeks, the Canvas migration team will be working to identify where VidGrid videos were linked or embedded in Canvas course shells and update those links so they point to Canvas Studio.

Archive: We will also maintain a complete local archive copy of all VidGrid content in case access is needed in the future.

Getting started with Canvas Studio: Please enroll in the mini self-paced training course, Studio Academy, using the steps below.

Once logged in to Canvas:

1. Select the Help menu.
2. Choose Training Services Portal (you may be prompted to authorize the first time).
3. In the portal, locate Studio Academy and click Enroll Now.
