KCC welcomes Joni Jarnagin as the new Assistant Director of Work-Based Learning within the Continuing Education & Business Partnerships division.

Joni brings extensive experience in workforce development, business partnerships, program management, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as Manager of Workforce and Community Partnerships at Prairie State College, where she led workforce training initiatives, developed strategic partnerships, and expanded experiential learning opportunities.

A Kankakee area native, Jarnagin began her career at KCC's Dr. King Adult Education Center and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Speech Communication from Olivet Nazarene University. In her new role, she will support internships, apprenticeships, and other work-based learning programs while strengthening partnerships with local employers and community organizations.
