It's summer festival season, and KCC will be represented at a number of events.
The Recruitment Office would appreciate anyone who can come out and help represent KCC at these events. Check the notes for incentives/additional information.
Friendship Festival Parade
- Sunday, June 28
- Time TBA, but probably 12:30ish p.m.-3ish p.m.
- You'll walk with the Wheels of Opportunity motorhome and hand out candy or KCC related items.
Iroquois County Fair
- July 15 - July 18
- Multiple time slots available each day between noon-7 p.m.
- KCC will cover the parking fee and fair admission for each volunteer.
Kankakee County Fair
- July 29 - July 31
- Multiple time slots available each day between noon-7 p.m.
- KCC will cover the parking fee and fair admission for each volunteer.
Notes:
- Coordinate with your supervisor to make sure you can earn comp time and/or be away from your regular job (for some of the fair times).
- Talk to Michael Brown about what to wear for the event - there might be a free KCC shirt for you!
- PLUS! The first 10 people to sign up for each event will get a $10 gift to use at KCC Food Services or the Hammes Bookstore.
